Eclectic nostalgia - Mount Palomar Winery, Temecula CA

"My experience was nothing short of amazing. It only took one time for me to explain my vision and she captured it completely. She was always available to answer any questions, sometimes even late at night! I could call, text, or email her and she would respond in a timely manner. She helped me with everything. We met vendors together and she made that process very easy. She made sure everyone we met was within my budget. She made sure to touch base on the numbers often so that I wouldn't go over my budget, and I didn't. Bindy is so creative and talented. She actually saved me money by showing me different ways we could accomplish what I wanted. If I was the least bit stressed over a minor detail, she made sure she had a solution on the spot, or she made it, and I was a happy Bride again. She made sure I was happy throughout the entire planning process and was able to keep me calm. When she would tell me we had something I thought we couldn't get, I was reminded why I hired her. Bindy gets it done. My wedding was held at Mount Palomar Winery and it was beautiful. The only thing that could have been a disaster was my wedding dress. The night before the wedding a string of pearls snapped from my dress and of course I was losing my mind. Bindy came to the rescue, calm as can be, along with her beautiful daughter Sheena, who actually designed my dress, and they fixed it. Talk about going Above and Beyond. Done. Stress gone! Aside from that nothing went wrong. If anything did, I know Bindy made sure she resolved it because we didn't find out. The guests were happy, everyone was happy and impressed with what they saw. Every detail I discussed with Bindy was well executed the day of my wedding. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the way the day turned out! "First let me say, we began planning our wedding 5 months before our date and had no clue how to put anything together. We hired all of our vendors and made it a point in our budget to hire a wedding planner. The last thing I wanted on this important day was stress.  First, we must say she was incredibly budget friendly; this was HUGE for us considering our total cost was $4000, which isn't much for a wedding now-a-days.  My husband and I had a vision in our heads for the wedding, but we had no clue how to make it happen. Bindy made our dream wedding come true and SO much more!

She provided many decorative items like vases, candle holders, and a variety of love signs. She also provided all of this at an extremely low cost--table lines, which she has in many colors.  She was able to help us find a DJ completely last minute when ours bailed on us. DJ Jim Smith was very professional and appropriate at our wedding. The florist was another vendor Bindy helped us get in contact with and helped us get beautiful flowers at a great price!  I truly didn't think I would have such a beautiful wedding as I did on the small budget we had.  Bindy helped the day go by smoothly and it was stress free for my husband and I.

I cannot say enough good things about how amazing Bindy is. She has a beautiful heart and loves what she does. She's a genuine person who truly cares about each couple she works with, which was apparent in the 4 meetings we had with her.  We met four times prior to the big day, and after every meeting my husband and I felt great weights come off our shoulders. She always reassured us that it was going to be beautiful, and, in the end we didn't worry about a thing and just let Bindy do her job. She was incredibly friendly, kind, and professional every step of the way!

With all that, my husband and I can say confidently, we highly recommend Bindy O'Kelly! As cheesy as it sounds, she's a dream come true."

An Enchanted Forest, Long Beach CA

"The work Bindy did for me was amazing. I felt that I should have paid her more.  I texted Bindy one day saying, 'burlap moss, wood, pastel colors, no roses.. what can your imagination do with that?'  Her reply back was everything.  And that's what I got, everything.  I've always said I never wanted a wedding.  The work Bindy did for me has me already planning for my 5 yr renewal.
I spent a lot of time looking for wedding planners. Some were charging over $3000 which included 3 face to face meetings, 25 text messages, 10 phone calls... you get my point, but it was none of that with Bindy.  My husband and I had her number on speed dial.  I would send random pictures of ideas that would pop in my head, throughout the day, and she would always reply back. It felt like I was planning my wedding with my best friend.
If there was an item I could not find Bindy would either have it for me or order it before I even asked. She gave me the enchanted forest wedding the flower child in me always wanted.  It's very hard to put into words the amazing work she did.  I hope she will post the pictures of our wedding so you can see that yes, a picture really is worth a thousand words.

"I wish I had found Bindy sooner, but I'm so happy I found her.  Even if it was 3-4 weeks before my actual wedding.  From the first moment I met with Bindy, my stress level dropped and I felt such great energy from her.  She was a great Day-of-Coordinator and set up our venue beautifully.  I was so impressed with all of the little details she added to our wedding.  She managed the day great and gave me such peace of mind."

"Bindy is everything a bride needs and more. I initially started the wedding planning process more than a year ago, so by the time I met her I had an idea in my mind of how I wanted the day to go. As a day-of-coordinator, she listened to my vision, offered important, critical feedback and tips, and took over the reins on the big day so that I didn't have to worry about any of it.

From day one, she went above and beyond as a DOC.  She set out place settings in her showroom with mock-ups of our centerpieces so I could see what everything would look like.  She offered me everything she had - linens, vases, any additional decor that I hadn't already thought of, and sometimes even the ones I had! I was so impressed by her knowledge and experience, and her ability to think of every disaster and every contingency plan- one of my bridesmaids ripped her dress and she even had a sewing kit with the exact color of the fabric, on the day of!

Bindy did everything she said she would- she contacted all vendors before the event.  She toured the venue with me before the day of, made sure we had a complete minute-by-minute timeline for all the vendors, and took everything home at the end of the night so I wouldn't have to worry about transporting extra stuff on my night as the bride.  Of course, with any wedding, one always expects small hitches and mini-crises, but Bindy handled it all with aplomb.  I saw her true gracefulness under pressure (broken shoe! missing earring backs! dying goldfish!) as well as all the work she did to make sure everything was broken down and packed up from the venue once the wedding was over.

The only thing to take note of is that she is very busy, as wedding planning is not her full time job, and even her nights and weekends are often booked by other brides' weddings or other events! For someone who lives close by and doesn't mind driving to her home, it's not a big problem at all and easy enough to make multiple trips to get everything done.  She has lovely dogs at her house that are a pleasure to visit and has been such a great person and friend during my wedding process. I'm truly grateful she helped us make sure everything went relatively smoothly.  Anybody who has no idea how a wedding is supposed to run will not go wrong by choosing her from the very beginning.  Thank you!"
